The map on the left shows the placement of the buildings on Art Farm. Artists stay in a 100+ year old white clapboard farmhouse. A second Victorian farmhouse, moved to Art Farm in 2001 is currently being restored for extra artist accommodation. Four farm buildings in the old farmstead area “campus”, are used as studios. The largest structure on Art Farm ( The Barns) has 12,000 sq. ft. of space and is being renovated for woodworking, metalworking, letterpress printing, photography and digital technology. Due to ongoing construction, some areas of this facility continue to be available to artists on a limited basis. Up to 20 acres of prairie and pasture are available to artists for outdoor sculpture and installation sites. This outdoor sculpture site continues to be a major draw for artists to experiment with materials, scale and the challenges of the Nebraska climate.
